Take a Chance & Go Out & Dance


A dance instructor of Denica's is offering a free dance class. Sounds like a good chance to work up a sweat, meet some folks & have an all around good time. Chk out the info:

Join us for a Free traditional West African Dance Class outside,
under the sun at Central Park's Great Hill, taught by Master
Instructor, Nafisa Sharriff. Experience the rich folklore of the Old
Malian Empire, as we dance, drum and sing under the sun ! Plan to
stay a while and enjoy the afternoon with your family and friends on
your blanket with some food; as you meet and greet the village !

Directions by Train: Take the B or C to 103rd Street & Central Park
West and walk up the stairs

Directions by bus: Take the M10 or M116 to 106th Street & Central
Park West or Take the M7 to 106th Street and Manhattan Avenue and
walk one block to Central Park West. Enter Central Park at 106th
Street and walk up the stairs.
